Meet the talent at Harber Hair

Sam, our amazing boss lady, is back from maternity leave and is available for ladies and gents cuts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, doing extended hours from 9am to 7.30pm to cater for the demand.
Sam is originally from Hastings and moved to London shortly after finishing a degree in SFX and Character Creation at University.
She worked for Madame Tussauds for a number of years before deciding to go freelance with her hair and make up skills, during this time she worked in television and with independent film companies.
Not being one to sit still for too long, she decided it was time to inhance her skills and trained to be the amazing barber/hairdresser she is today. She now also has two insanely beautiful children, which is why her hours in salon are now limited, so book up quick to avoid disappontment!

Mark, A damn good hairdresser. Whilst having become a bit of ledge amongst the tweenager community (most well known for creating the “Leo”) he accumulated an extensive and committed client base very quickly and despite his sensitivity to Bleach has become well known for his beautiful, natural Balayages. Mark has grown into a confident and wonderful hairdresser since joining us and it has been an absolute pleasure to provide a space that has nurtured this. He always strives to educate and inform and his endless patience is probably why he has become such a favourite with all members of the families that visit us. For deep conversation about psychology, mercury in retrograde and the latest Davines technology, select Mark from the online booking form.

Nikki, an original East ender, she grew up in these 'ends' as her stomping ground. Since jumping ship a few years back though she now thinks the only way is Essex (although she assures us its still counted as a London Borough so isn't a complete deserter).Nikki is a strong, witty and infectiously cheerful character she often has her own and neighboring clients engaged in laughter and conversation. Trained in NVQ 2 & 3 level Hairdressing as well NVQ 2 level Barbering, no job is too big or small for our Nikki. Not only can she do it but she can teach it as she is also a certified cava assessor!
Correcting those home box dyed blunders, creating colourful masterpieces and cracking out a mean scalp bleach however, are her real forte. If you’ve been naughty and want those orange roots or wonky bangs sorted out, select Nikki on the online booking form.

Darren, having worked in hospitality including pubs, music venues and promoting nights he brought his amazing customer service to Harber Hair. Since his favorite movie is Back to the future he combines timeless classics with modern trends to create sensational cuts! He enjoys beard trims and shape ups, you can trust Darren to leave the Salon Happy!

Tsvetan (Steve), hailing from Bulgaria, Tsvetan moved to the UK after leaving school and settled here in London, he has been Barbering and cutting ladies hair for the last 8 years and makes it look very easy!
An absolute whiz with his clippers, he will give you the sharpest skin fade you have ever had in no time at all, though he is just as amazing with his scissors and produces beautiful long styles, he has a passion for bobs, so if its a shorter style you are looking for, Steve may just be your man.

Discover the best in salon experience, right here in Bow

Harber Hair first opened its doors in December 2017. We are a small independent business owned by Sam. Sam has a background in SFX makeup and props making and worked in the film industry for almost 10 years before embarking upon her hair journey. She is a trained makeup and special effects artist and also has her NVQ 2 in hairdressing and Barbering.

Harber Hair is now a proud team of seven (ten including our furry friends), with over twenty years of industry experience between us, and we continue to grow and sustain our client base in East London and the immediate surrounding area.
Cutting Services

While we take care of your hair, you can get cuddles from our salon dogs!

We have three four-legged mascots who join Sam on the days that she works. They are very friendly, good with children and would love to have a cuddle whilst you are having your hair done.Jeff the Sausage currently has an ASBO in place though for being too vocal.
Whilst we are all dog lovers we respect and appreciate that not everyone else is, so please do let one of our members of staff know either before your appointment or as you arrive and we will make arrangements to suit this during your visit.
